Air Fryer Fish and Chips
Fish and Chips is one of my favorite fried meals. So I decided to whip this up on a windy cold Sunday night with my trusty Air Fryer! If the cold weather and waves of spring have you missing the sunshine and beach days, you are not alone! Go back to your happy place and enjoy this super easy Air Fryer Fish and Chips Recipe!
1 pound haddock
1 cup flour
2 eggs beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tbsp Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
4 golden potatoes
1.Preheat oven to 425 and air fryer to 350
2.Wash potatoes and slice into wedges. Arrange in a single layer on a sheet pan, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper then toss to coat, bake for 20 minutes in the oven or according to air fryer baking time
3.Arrange plates of seasoned flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumb
4.Slice fish with the grain into 1 inch thick strips
5. Working with one piece at a time, dip fish into flour, egg, breadcrumbs,and place into air fryer basket. Drizzle each side with olive oil and air fry for 10 minutes, flip, and air fry an additional 10 minutes until haddock is golden brown and cooked through. Season with salt to taste
Serve with tarter sauce, cocktail sauce, and lemon wedges!
